April (with an e)

I’m Aprile, a designer who builds visual systems with structure, personality, and staying power. My background moves between computer science, publication design, brand campaigns, and community programming, which means I care about how things look, how they work, and how they hold together over time.

Structure & Flow

I’m drawn to pacing, alignment, typography, and layout — the details that help information feel clear and considered. Whether I’m working on a campaign, identity system, event, or piece of print, I’m always thinking about how each part connects to the next.

Community & Creative Programming

As Programming Director for AIGA DC, I help shape events and initiatives that give designers in the region space to connect, learn, share, and feel seen including programs like DC Design Week, CreateAthon, and SHINE.

Scale & Detail

My work moves between large brand systems and smaller, more expressive identity projects. I like that balance: creating systems that are organized enough for teams to use, but thoughtful enough to still feel distinct.
